A Splendid Stay with Charming Amenities!

I had a delightful stay over Christmas! The grand decor exuded charm, and the delicious meals at the on-site restaurant were a treat. After enjoying the lovely view from my window, I was greeted with wonderful service. If you're driving, take advantage of the on-site parking!

The small room felt cramped with little space around the bed, and the view was just a brick wall. However, the helpful staff and prime location made it somewhat bearable.

Consider asking for earplugs if you’re sensitive to street noise. they provide them for a more restful night.

The location next to the train station is unbeatable, making travel extremely convenient. The room was cosy with a comfortable bed and decent bathroom. however, the heating was problematic, as the radiator was off but the pipes radiated heat. The staff were very helpful, providing a blank envelope for sending paperwork, and the breakfast, including the fish and chips, was enjoyable.

This hotel suits me perfectly! The 24-hour reception, bar lounge, and free Wi-Fi are great. On my first stay, the staff guided me to my destination, which I appreciated. I highly recommend staying here.

The hotel's historic charm and central location are appealing, but the room unfortunately felt cramped and dated. With noise from the surroundings and no air conditioning, comfort was lacking. the breakfast options were decent, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay.

The four poster bed was very comfortable, while the draughty windows made sleep difficult.

Enjoyed my time here! The room was comfy and had a nice mini fridge with drinks. Great breakfast spread – full English was awesome. But man, the noise from the club was a serious bummer. Couldn't sleep with the bass pounding till 2 am. If they could fix that, it would be perfect!

I truly appreciated the charming Victorian decor, which made the atmosphere so inviting. The spacious lounge areas were easily accessible and comfortable, enabling me to relax after a day of exploring Newcastle.

A bit more variety in breakfast options would help.

The staff were helpful, making everything easy. As a family man from the UK, I appreciated having the convenience nearby.

The room was spacious with great amenities like a hairdryer, iron, and flat-screen TV. The indoor swimming pool was a nice relaxation spot, and the fitness center had everything needed for a workout. Breakfast had a good selection, with fresh pastries and various juices. Staff remembered us and were super friendly, adding a personal touch.

we stayed for 2 nights n it was super comfy. the location was perfect, just next to the train station. the bed was a great size and the hotel was very clean, lots of character too. staff were really friendly and helpful which made our stay even better. honestly, this was one of our fav hotels ever!
